This set is started off by Nayobe's 'Please Don't Go', released in 1985. It is widely misconstrued by many music critics as the first released track of the freestyle genre. Shannon's 'Let The Music Play' from 1984 astutely holds that title. But Nayobe's hit record was right behind paving the way for the glory years of freestyle.
